In reference to the Bible, the color blue symbolizes Heaven & Divinity. 

Blue also represents Holiness, Remembrance, and God’s Commandments.

 Exodus 24:10 - “They saw the God of Israel. Under His feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli, as bright blue as the sky.”

In this verse, Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and 70 elders experienced a glimpse of God’s presence. Lapis lazuli is a deep blue stone that symbolizes purity and holiness. The beautiful stone being under His feet is an illustration of God sitting  in heaven and reigning above all things!
